Tommy’s “Crooked Man” international tour received rave reviews. The gloriously funny and life affirming material signalled the comedian at his finest. And so, for this particular performance Tommy wanted to do something special, something that had never been done in Ireland before and was true to the art of stand up, to shoot a stand up comedy show on film. In collaboration with British director Richard Ayoade (Writer and Director of “Submarine”, who also plays Maurice Moss in C4’s the IT Crowd) Tommy returned to an intimate venue that has played a big part of his career, City Limits, Cork. This performance, recorded on more than eight motion film cameras, perfectly captures the passion and vitality of Tommy’s intimitable live show where themes are explored that will make you laugh harder than you’d ever believe possible.

• Tommy has the highest selling DVD sales in Ireland. ‘Cracked: Live at Vicar Street’ went straight to number 1 in the 1st week of release and will reach Four times Platinum Status.
• Tommy is second only to U2 when it comes to live ticket sales in Ireland. The Bovinity Tour culminated in 3 sold out shows to a total audience of 12,000 in the Marquee Cork.
• In 2006 he headlined the first ever Irish gala at the Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival and he was invited to join the Just for Laughs National Tour in 2007.
• In America, Tommy has been invited to perform three times on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ to rave reviews with his fourth in the offing.
• With his Loose tour he broke all Irish box office records by selling out in venues across the country including a to date staggering 166 dates in Dublin’s one thousand seat theatre, Vicar Street.
• In April 2009 Tommy set the Guinness World Record for the longest Stand-Up Comedy Show by an individual by a staggering 36 hours and 15 minutes.
